MEETING LOCATION CHANGE!!!

The Book Worms club has decided to change their meeting location. We will be now meeting the Howard & McBride Chapel of Chimes (10179-108 Street) at 7:30pm. Please enter through the front doors. There is free parking at the southside of the building. The next meeting will be on December 17, 2009 @ 7:30pm where we will be discussing “Tipping the Velvet” by Sarah Waters. We hope to see you at our new location!!

The Book Worms club has decided to change their meeting dates. We will be now meeting on the 3rd Thursday of each month at the Second Cup on 112 Street and Jasper Avenue. Our next meeting will be on Thursday September 17 @ 7:30. We hope to see you on our new night!!

We also had a lively discussion about The Frontrunner. We discussed what we liked and disliked about the book, the characters, the journey Billy and Harlan took together to get to the Olympics, the use of Sport organizations in relation to LGBT athletes, and many other areas that were relevant to the novel.
